Located at the foot of the Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps, on 26th August 2023 Dovje-Mojstrana became the 37th member of the Mountaineering Villages/Bergsteigerdörfer.

Located at the foot of the Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps, Dovje-Mojstrana has become the 37th member of the Mountaineering Villages network (third Slovenian village to be included). Mountaineering villages/Bergsteigerdörfer are committed to sustainable development and preservation of natural and cultural heritage. The national partner in the project is the Alpine Association of Slovenia and Jezersko was the first Slovenian village to join the network in 2018, followed by Luče a year later.
